Lead Automation & Performance Engineer
Description
We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Developer & Performance Engineer to join our R&D performance group and lead and develop the performance infrastructure of NICE's Cxone Recording solution. In this role, you will work with highly motivated engineers, focused on the performance and scale aspects of the recording domain, and strive to identify bottlenecks, system limits and optimizations of current and roadmap features. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented engineering scrums to improve our services to meet our customers’ future needs and expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions to evaluate and improve performance and scalability.
- Use monitoring tools to help diagnose, improve, and resolve performance issues.
- Perform performance analysis and optimization of our AWS cloud product for micro services and serverless solutions
- Coordinate and collaborate with multiple scrums to determine, gather and verify performance test & benchmarks needs.
- Translate business goals, requirements, and complex system diagrams to effectively design and drive performance engineering solutions.
- Identify & resolve complex performance issues using diagnostics tools, logs, and metrics
- Work on performance frameworks and run micro services benchmarks
- Good knowledge of networking Fast learner

- Have a good understanding of the business and customer experience
- Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process
Education
- B.Sc in Computer Science, Industrial/Electronic Engineering, and/or practical relevant technological experience/knowledge or IT experience
Requirements
Must
- Passion for improving software & solve problems
- Minimum 5 years as a performance or backend software engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry
- Minimum 5 years of building & reviewing STP & STD of performance setups
- Minimum 5 years of automation infrastructure (Playwright) and testing design
- Knowledge of Jenkins and source control tool.
- Knowledge of Java scripts, Type scripts, NodeJS, and or Java Languages
- Working with Jira
- Understanding of CI/CD systems
- Experience with RDS, Aurora - an advantage
- Experience with Agile
- Experience working with DevOps teams
- Proven background in leading activities from the idea phase to implementation
- Excellent written and oral communication and human relationships skills
- Self-motivated & a team player
Advantage
- Experience with AWS Cloudbase platforms, and AWS Cloud watch.
- Working with Playwright.
- Advantage: good understanding of Storage
