If you’re enthusiastic about helping others and enjoy meeting new people, we may have the perfect role for you. We’re looking for a full-time telemarketer to provide excellent customer service for our busy mortgage office.

You will be working with real estate agents to set appointments with loan officers, conduct follow-up calls from a customer database, and gather referrals from previous clients. We provide a script, but you’ll need to be a quick thinker and problem-solver to answer client questions, address concerns, or direct clients to the proper channel. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of phone sales and outbound cold calling experience, along with a strong ability to multitask. Previous experience in an inside sales role is highly desirable.

Compensation:

$3 - $5 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct phone calls to set appointments for real estate agents with loan officers
  • Achieve quotas for weekly appointment setting for real estate agents
  • Create and maintain a system for gathering referrals from past clients
  • Field basic questions from clients about product and services or direct to proper channel
  • Use a script on phone calls to inform clients about products, prices, features, and their benefits

  • Answer incoming calls with the utmost level of professionalism
  • Call our new referrals in a timely matter (within 5 minutes) to schedule a home-buying consultation
  • Complete a quote of weekly appointment calls for real estate agents
  • Build and maintain a system for gathering referrals from realtors and clients

Qualifications:
  • Must have a computer that can be used for work and access to the internet
  • Working knowledge of software including Microsoft Word and Google Docs along with basic computer skills is preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in phone sales and outbound cold calling
  • You will need a high-quality headset with microphone for this position

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Spanish, a must
  • High School education or equivalent (College level preferred)
  • Friendly, energetic, and caring individual
  • Knowledge of PhoneBurner, SalesForce, Google Docs, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Slack, preferred
