Job Advert Summary
The candidate is required to assist in the implementation, and administration of occupational health and safety requirements, incident prevention and management. Equipment and property protection to meet the highest specification standards in and around the worksite. The candidate will be reporting any issues encountered to the Section Safety Officer.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 and National Diploma in Safety Management.
- An advanced diploma in safety management will be advantageous.
- Minimum one year work experience in a maintenance and operations environment. A candidate that has knowledge of Environmental management would be advantageous.
Primary Duties
- Hazard Identification and risk management.
- Ensure completion of SHE action items.
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety compliance standards
- Coordinate all safety compliance inspections.
- Communicate all safety related matters to all employees, service providers and line management
