We manage a portfolio of vacation properties on various platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com, and HomeAway and look after 140 homes in Victoria Australia. We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Property Specialist (Remote) to join our team and help us provide exceptional experiences to our guests.
Position Overview: As a Property Specialist (Remote), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and profitability of our vacation rental properties. You will be responsible for managing properties remotely, coordinating bookings, overseeing property maintenance, complaint management, answering phones and enhancing our online presence through strong English skills, social media management, and email marketing. Additionally, you should be familiar with channel managers and have experience with platforms like Booking.com, Airbnb, and HomeAway.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Management:
Handle check-ins and check-outs online, including guest communications and key exchange.
Coordinate cleaning and maintenance services as needed.
Answering calls
Complaint management
Coordinate claims
Guest Experience:
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests.
Collect and respond to guest reviews and feedback, aiming to maintain high guest satisfaction.
Channel Management:
Use a channel manager to update property information, rates, and availability across multiple platforms, including Booking.com, Airbnb, and HomeAway.
Optimize listings to increase visibility and booking rates.
Online Presence:
Utilize strong English skills to create engaging property descriptions and online content.
Maintain active and attractive social media profiles to promote properties and engage with potential guests.
Email Marketing:
Create and manage email marketing campaigns using platforms like MailChimp to reach out to potential guests and past visitors.
Qualifications:
Strong written and spoken English skills.
Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram
Experience with email marketing platforms, specifically MailChimp.
Familiarity with channel managers and property management software.
Experience with online booking platforms, including Booking.com, Airbnb, and HomeAway.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely.
Flexibility to work outside of traditional business hours as needed.
