Finance Manager-Railway Asset Management (Ref: 230000VB)
Responsibilities
- Lead a team to provide full range of accounting and financial services in support of fixed assets management and railway capital and revenue works
- Manage the accounting operations, cost control, compilation of the annual budget and forecast in compliance with statutory requirements, prevailing accounting standards and the Corporation’s policies
- Provide technical accounting advice as well as financial reports and analyses to senior management
- Manage long-term capital expenditure forecast and fixed assets records to achieve the asset management target
- Liaise with internal parties, business partners and auditors independently on all business/accounting matters
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support financial system development projects, business process transformation and other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or a related discipline
- Possession of a recognised professional qualification, such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience, preferably with exposure in asset management, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial System, Hyperion and prior experience in major system development projects is preferred
- Strong business acumen with prominent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proactive mindset and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
