In this role you will;
Manage with the support of his/her line manager the development, implementation and launch process for renovation, innovation, and costs/quality related projects for the brands under his/her responsibility in accordance with Danone mission and principles.
Arrange and coordinate the execution of pilot trials, plan, organize, conduct and follow up industrial trials, collect, analyze and present the relevant analytical data, provide assistance during launch period and afterwards carry out a formal hand over to industrial department.
Build close network and collaboration with key global contacts to understand and create synergies in terms of innovation and renovation as well as relevant technological solution to implement for ongoing projects.
Build strong network within international Danone Specialized Nutrition community and foster collaboration, exchange of ideas, know-how and best practices.
Actively participate in solving problems that occur during production and projects related to the optimization of production technologies and/or quality.
Be actively involved in the ideation stage and contribute to creating a robust and relevant inno/reno portfolio for Danone in Turkey.
To manage the specifications for ingredients in Specialized Nutrition Category, which could include fats & oils, carbohydrates etc, as per business/project needs.
To connect with multiple functions within Danone and with suppliers to align on details of specifications to ensure full food safety and regulatory compliance to ensure highest standards of finished products for sensitive customers.
To meet the needs of the end product, consumer & market, as well as managing the Specifications approval process & maintaining up to date data will be a part of the role.
To be able to successful in the role, you need to have;
Bachelors or Master's degree in food or chemistry engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in industry with at least 2 years’ experience on basic understanding of specialized nutrition & food ingredients, formulations and process related areas.
Knowledge and experience working with ingredients specifications especially fats & oils, carbohydrates, dairy ingredients etc. would be a definite plus.
Ability to work structurally and focused with good time management skills
Ability to work pragmatically and agile in a changing and complex environment
Resilience and determination to make things happen
Result oriented
Experience in SAP systems is a plus
Good skills in MS Office, esp. Excel.
