As the MEP Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of the data centre project in Sweden. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the overall success of the project, driving collaboration among various stakeholders, including design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.Responsibilities:
Oversee MEP scope of work, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.- Develop and manage the project schedule, coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of MEP activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain effective communication channels.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop comprehensive MEP systems that meet project requirements.
- Review and analyze design documents, drawings, and specifications, providing valuable input and suggesting improvements for optimal performance.
- Coordinate with MEP subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of MEP installations and identify any deviations from the design.
- Prepare and manage the MEP project budget, ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and track MEP-related expenses, reviewing invoices, and validating payment requests.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality standards.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures, ensuring MEP installations comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with the quality team to conduct regular inspections and audits, addressing any non-compliance issues promptly.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, promoting a culture of health and safety awareness among the project team and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager
- Data Centre experience is required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
